Pets: Well behaved pets are welcomed.
Eco friendly: Renovated to 2013 standards, the cottage is very energy efficient. A substantial amount of re-cycled materials were used in the works, including bulk oak timbers from a demolished factory. There are ample facilities for recycling within the village and the cottage has segregated refuse bins.
Accessibilty issues: Being in a village can be attractive holiday option for people with mobility difficulties. The private car parking area gives reasonably level access to the rear door and the slate floor covering, wide doors and ample manoeuvring space on the ground floor would be appropriate for someone with mobility difficulties. The ground floor bedroom and shower room provide good facilities but are not designed to full wheelchair standards and there are no grab rails fitted to the toilets or shower. The first floor lounge and Viewing Studio are only accessible by staircase.
