“A little piece of Heaven”

A stunning chocolate box cottage that has been tastefully modernised to maximise the space with the addition of a glass tower overlooking the garden.A fully fitted luxury kitchen serves a great dinning area. The shower room and bathroom share the luxury experience.Three generous sized double bedrooms with great stowage.Upstairs to the family lounge and your greeted with a splendid real fire. We had the most terrific time at Pudding Lane, the weather was not on our side but with the fire lit and the shutters closed we were happy being indoors.A great nights sleep was had by all as the cottage sits back off the main road and you can here a pin drop.

“Relaxing”

Lovely cottage, had everything you need for a relaxing break. We took our dog, he had a great time on the lovely walks all on the doorstep. Enclosed garden so was safe to let him out. Would definately go back.

“Perfect for a family holiday no matter what the weather”

An inspiring architectural mix of the old and the new this innovative building cleverly combines all the creature comforts with taste and style. For Mums the kitchen is so well equipped that cooking almost becomes a pleasure, whilst the kids have plenty of space elsewhere to entertain themselves and yet Dad can still escape to a quiet bolthole . With the cottage being positioned in the middle of the village-yet unaffected by the traffic-access to the shops is a huge bonus. Bring your bikes if you have them-the cycle path to Crieff is ideal for all members of a family and the countryside is beautiful. A tip -do try to book in advance or at the start of your stay when eating out although the Royal Hotel will always fit you in.

“Highly Recommended”

I stayed here with a few friends for a long weekend to celebrate making it to 30. We were very impressed when we saw the house! It is very impressive to look at from the outside, and the garden is very well kept. There is a table in the garden which would be great to use in nice weather, but sadly we didn’t have much of that over the weekend! We had 2 cars, and we managed to park both of them very easily in the very clean and spacious parking area.   One of the owners greeted us and was very friendly and helpful. He showed us how to work everything that needed to be explained, but everything in the house was easy to use. Everything is very modern, the house is spacious, and the wifi connection is fast and reliable! (very important to me!). The decor of the house can’t be beaten, and all of the bedrooms are very spacious and well decorated. I can speak for everyone in saying that the beds were all very comfortable. The viewing room is a great feature of the house, with a telescope for good measure! The living room is very well equipped with a large TV with BT Vision.   The house is very well located. Although it is in the centre of Comrie, it is set back in a quiet lane. It’s within a 2 minute walk of a shop, as well as some excellent pubs and restaurants. The village is very picturesque, and is close to several tourist attractions including the Famous Grouse Experience and Auchingarrich Wildlife park (both very worth visiting!). It’s also worth walking to the Deil’s Cauldron. The walk starts just around the corner and offers excellent sights. It’s worth having lunch at the Deil’s Cauldron Restaurant when you return to the village too! We had a great time, and hope to stay again in the future!

“An intriguing combination of a modernised cottage and a new wing, all finished to a very high standard”

Back home after spending Easter weekend in Comrie and the house will stay as part of our memories. It’s a clever combination of an old cottage with a brand new wing, which is just about as modern as you can get. We were very impressed by the unconventional layout inside and really enjoyed one of the new rooms which is topped and fronted with glass, so you can look at the hills during the day and the stars at night! The sun shone every day, so we were able to take advantage of sitting out in the garden; didn’t have a chance to try any of the wood burning stoves but I can imagine they would be great in winter. Plans made to go back!
